Apple Watch Synchronization Issue

While I've been playing Timecrest on my apple watch for quite a while, and today I found that game progress on my iPhone and watch can't be synchronized. I played on my iPhone for a while, and now Ash is traveling to Mount Asura with Team 13 after Riley's funeral, but he's sleeping while Team 13 are drawing the Map of Alyncia on my watch. I tried restarting both devices but it didn't work. Also sometimes iPhone progress can override apple watch even when it is lagging behind.
Edit: Problem solved. When your iPhone is in low battery mode it stops all apps' data connection with watch. Damn, I feel silly...
