How did Melvin manage to escape the naming rule? I believe that there were a few stores around (Aurumhalla and Timecrest, if not more). Why wasn’t he the Drape Haven Merchant?

I don’t think that Drape Haven is one of the Portia’s merchant.

That’s my guess as well, South. Maybe drapes aren’t quite the commodity that orbs/ potions are, and Janus wouldn’t lose anything by Melvin not unionizing.

Why don’t you get an author to write a novel about Timecrest like Infinity blade did with Brandon Sanderson ? I’m sure it would be extremely profitable and make the game very popular. Somebody like J.K. Rowling would do nicely since she has written Harry Potter which is very similar to Timecrest. Or are you going to do this after the game has reached part 3 or 4 ?

I’d buy it! Not sure about J.K. Rowling- not only is she too popular, you know Voldemort would be behind the door.

I think they are talented/skilled enough to do that by themselves if they wanted to. Other than lack of time, I don't see a reason why they would need someone else to write the book for them.
But I'd buy a Timecrest book, too!

I'm a Chinese player and Timecrest is the best game I've ever met, better then Lifeline I'll say, but it is underestimated in China because few people would like to play games without translations, which is quite a pity. Do you have any translation plans underway? I can help with Chinese translation^ω^ Looking forward to Timecrest 3.

Well I have many question about Alyncia itself, though they may not be related to the plot.
What is the political situation of Alyncia? I mean there’s an Alycian Common Law and there are also many kingdoms, so is it like a federation and the Common Law is the Continental Constitution? Then where’s the federal government? And does the guilds belong to any of these kingdoms?
And who owns Griffin Transport? Why there’s no Griffin Transport to Windsorhowl? What is the geography of Alyncia like? I would really like to see a geographical map of Alyncia.
And why the length and time unit in Alyncia are the same as that of the human world? Is an Alyncia day also 24 hours? Moreover, is Alyncia on another planet, or is it in a parallel universe?

I would gladly answer some of these questions, but they may have spoilers so be warned!
First off, the political situation of Alyncia seems to be directed by the Guildmasters and the royalty themselves. As far as I can tell, there isn't that many major places such as the Timecrest Guild or Windsorhowl. In fact most of the places are just small villages, like Lyall. Windsorhowl goes by a monarchy system, where as Guildmasters in Timecrest are selected by their control over magic. And not every place has the same laws. For example, in Windsorhowl you're not allowed to give out free water, as it is a desert and the king wants you to pay for water.
In short I don't think there is any collective government, as Windsorhowl and Timecrest are independent.
I think the Griffin Transport is something that everyone has implemented except for Windsorhowl. Windsorhowl doesn't allow direct transportation to their place, so you can't use a Teleport Orb to go instantly there. There's a barrier that protects Windsorhowl from anyone just teleporting in. So you can teleport close enough but you'd have to walk all the way there.
You'll see a map in Timecrest 2! But I think Alyncia time goes faster or slower depending on your response time. But if you take it as a thing in the game, I think their days are slightly longer. Mostly because some people may have forgotten when to sleep because the sky is frozen, so it's like an internal day. But when the meteors are unfrozen, I think the days are longer.
I think Alyncia is on another planet. There are a few hints that it could be a planet but there are also hints of it being a parallel universe. So it's honestly your opinion! :>
I hope this helps! :>

In the next part of the story, it would be really amazing if we could find some human artifacts, or if we could explore other gilds in Ash's world.
also, are their any other quests in the story besides the quest in Nightshade forest?

I would love that too. The next part is Luthor Timecrest, and since his father references humans and Alynicians in Chapter 10, I'm hoping we see some.
But there are a few artifacts left around. Chronos has a laptop, Ash has the watch, we find a bomb in the forest, and there are others item in Chapters 9 and 10. I would love to see Ash find and interact with one.
Nightshade is the only quest, but you get to see a special scene with each member of Team 13 of your relationship is maxed out.

I Live
god its been a while, but i have Questions (because i messed up the twitter thread i attempted to make bad. whoops). some of these questions have also appeared on my twitter but anyway:
1. Does Roger have (clinical) anxiety? I know having a panic attack doesn’t necessarily mean someone has GAD or some other anxiety disorder, but I’m just curious as someone who suspects they have some form of anxiety.
2. Does the merchant talk to his customers through the AMP card? I noticed that in Chapter 9, after Timecrest gets set on fire, the Merchant says something like ‘I can’t find you in the camp. Are you okay?’ to Ash through the AMP card.
3. Despite Riley dying in some paths, she’s alive when you restart the game. I know it’s more of a technical deal than anything, but does that mean we, the human on the other side of the screen, has access to revival magic?
4. Why did you choose to name the world in Timecrest Alyncia? Why did you choose Timecrest to be the game’s name, besides it being Chronos’ surname?
more to come later maybe. ive missed this game.

Have to ask: Scarlet and Sol Ignis’ father being named Kaine... a reference to the wrestler Kane or not?Last edited by DudeLove721; 12-15-2020, 06:27 PM.
