Is there a way to get Ash to improve her magic?

There are times that one of the options is a higher level magic that Ash cannot cast.

Also, are there ways to farm irilium?

Hi Shina, and welcome to the forums! There is a stronger level of the spell (Levitas/ Gravitas Magnus) if you find Ezra, and the fire spell is located in chapter 8.

You can’t farm irillium, but you can find it in several locations throughout the game. You can also tweet weekly for 50 free gems.
