I want to start a running list of spells. I want to list what thy do, what item to draw them from and any variants they may have. If you find ones I haven't, feel free to add.

    Spell Item: Unknown
Other Notes: Guildmaster Petora's specialty. Can be overcome with Dispel Ring.

    Name: "Turn Back Time" Button
Effect: Turns back time. Amount traveled back varies by usage. Seems to take target back to significant place. In Ash's case, it takes him back to the courtyard with apple trees where he met you.
    Spell Item: Unknown

    Spell Item: Unknown

Effect: Using blood from another dead being, a puppet is summoned with the powers of the formerly living entity.
    Spell Item: Unknown
Other Notes: One of Elise Maybelle's signature spells. It is some form of Illusion magic.

I know I've missed some. Feel free to add.

I would also like to ask something. Does learning a spell or its stronger variant have any effect on the story? I haven't been able to actually use the spells for Gravitas or Levitas, as well as their variants, for anything useful.

There's some kind of a null magic spell that keeps Ash from casting. I think it was used a few times like when Riley pushed Ash off of Aion.

For the record, I'll put this on the other format.

        Name: Unknown.
Effect: Nullifies magic. Makes any spell cast not take effect. This also applies to spells stored in times, not just spells cast by a physical caster
        Spell Item: Unknown

I have no evidence as to the official name, but think the spells named Vanitas because in latin a couple of it's meaning are emptiness and uselessness My reasoning for this is that when Ash is falling from Aion he says he knows he should be feeling scared, panicked, something, but he feels empty and his spells are useless, same with the stored spells the objects are "emptied" and are rendered useless while the spell is active on the target or the target remains in its active range.

From the Timecrest 1.6 announcement, there was a screenshot where Chronos casts Levitas Ultimus. I haven't tried the new changes myself, but I assume that screenshot is real. I wonder if that means there's also a Gravitas Ultimus?

Most likely. As I'm sure we've noticed, spells seem to be derived from Latin. If you want a quick Latin lesson, continue onward.

"Magnus" means great. And I can assume that "Ultimus" means "ultimate" or something similar. In that case, there are probably three spell level variants for most things. "Gravitas" means "heavy". "Levitas" means "light". As an aside, I have no idea what grammar is supposed to be when describing what is already an adjective. i could probably figure it out, given some time.

Well, in any event, we haven't yet seen the spell used. I could make a note of it, as a placeholder. I'm sure we could just find out for ourselves, however. If you would, whoever gets to the update first, please add it to the index.

Just wanted to mention that this spell is named Annextas, and you'll learn more about it in Timecrest 2.

The official description: "A binding spell that creates a magical binding between two entities, whether a person or a physical object. Riley used this spell to bind the pouch to the pocket watch."

Wow, thanks for that. I'll go update the list. Also, I use non-official descriptions, to make it easier on myself. Does anyone care if I just copy-past this one?

Also, is it based on the modern word "annex"? Or the Latin infinitive verb "annectere", meaning "to connect"? As a student of Latin, I find myself increasingly interested in spells and Latin derivatives.

"Gravitas" and "Levitas" both have stronger variants. Does "Annextas" have a stronger variant that would make a bind last longer? Is the spell on Ash's stuff going to wear off if not updated? In fact, do spells have weaker variants? What if you only wanted to very carefully levitate an object towards oneself without alerting an owner, for, say, pickpocketing? Would that be possible? Then, would you attatched something like "minimus" to it?

Came across the spell incendiatas. It was needed during part 2, but I wasn't able to find where Ash learns it...

Incendiatas can be found when investigating the bomb suitcase in nightshade forest at 45 feet. Haha, I have been blown up at 25 and 35 trying to figure it out.

Thank you! I always pick the other option where I try drawing the spell from it first, and was not able to see the different distances. Will be sure to try this on my next run!
